A bearing sealing ring is characterized in that two circular ridges extend upward on an end face of a circular ring. The inner diameter of the convex with a smaller diameter is matched with the outer diameter of the inner ring of a ball bearing. 

The outer diameter of the convex with a larger diameter is matched with the outer diameter of the ball ring of a ball bearing.The inner diameter of the sealing ring is not less than the inner diameter of the inner ring of the ball bearing.

In addition to the general requirements for sealing ring materials, the following conditions shall be noted for sealing rings:

(1) Full of elasticity and resilience;

(2) Appropriate mechanical strength, including expansion strength, elongation and tear strength, etc.

(3) Stable performance, not easy to swell in the medium, small thermal shrinkage effect (Joule effect).

(4) Easy to process and shape, and can maintain precision size.

(5) Do not corrode the contact surface, do not pollute the medium, etc.

The most suitable and most commonly used material to meet the above requirements is rubber, so the sealing ring is mostly made of rubber material.There are many varieties of rubber, and there are new varieties of rubber, design and selection, we should understand the characteristics of all kinds of rubber, reasonable choice.

The selection should pay attention to the following issues:

Temperature non-contact sealing ring material is rubber material, mainly butadiene rubber ideal use temperature is 70~80 degrees Celsius, short time can reach 120 degrees Celsius, dust cover for steel, can withstand high temperature.

Whether the deep groove ball bearings are covered or sealed depends on the use of the bearing requirements.The dust cover is not in contact with the bearing inner ring and is installed non-contact.The seal ring is in contact with the inner ring of the bearing for contact installation.Therefore, the limit speed of the dustproof cover bearing is higher than that of the sealing ring bearing, and the protection class of the sealing ring bearing is higher than the dustproof cover, the waterproof performance of the sealing ring bearing is good.Sealing ring bearings also better prevent grease from escaping.

Matters needing attention in the installation and use of sealing rings:

(1) Do not install the wrong direction and damage the lip edge.A cut of 50 m or more on the lip may result in significant oil leakage.

(2) Prevent mandatory installation.Do not hammer in, but to use a special tool to first seal ring into the seat hole, and then a simple cylinder to protect the lip through the spline.Before installation, apply some lubricating oil to the lips to facilitate installation and prevent burns during initial operation, and pay attention to cleaning.

(3) Prevent overdue use.The rubber seal of dynamic sealing life is generally 3000~5000h, should replace the new seal ring in time.

(4) Replace the size of the sealing ring to be the same.The sealing ring of the same size should be selected in strict accordance with the requirements of the instructions, otherwise the tightness and other requirements cannot be guaranteed.

(5) Avoid using old sealing rings.When using a new seal ring, also check its surface quality carefully to make sure that there are no holes, bumps, cracks, grooves and other defects and that it is flexible enough to be used.

(6) During installation, all parts of the hydraulic system should be cleaned strictly first. It is better to use special tools to prevent fingers from being scratched by metal sharp edges.

(7) When replacing the seal ring, strictly check the groove of the seal ring, remove dirt and polish the bottom of the groove.

(8) In order to prevent oil leakage caused by damage, the operation must be in accordance with the rules and regulations. At the same time, the machine should not be overloaded for a long time or run in a poor environment.
