1. Whether the steel stamp is distinct?

On the bearing’s body, it is printed with its brand name, label, etc. Although the font is tiny, the products produced by regular manufacturers use steel stamping technology and emboss before heat treatment. Thus, though the font is small, it is deeply concave and very distinct. While the fonts of inferior products are not only vague, but also float on the surface due to the rough printing technology, and some can be easily erased by hand or the handwork marks are severe.

2. Is there a dissonance?

Using your left hand to hold the inner sleeve of the bearing, and turn the outer sleeve with a small amount of reciprocation in the right hand to make it rotate, and listen for any noise during the running of the bearing. Due to the bad production condition of most inferior products, impurities such as dust and sand will inevitably be mixed into the bearing body during the process of production, so when the bearing rotates, noise or unsmooth operation will occur. This is the key to judging whether the product comes from a branded product of a regular manufacturer with strict production standards and machine operation.

3. Whether there is turbid oil on the surface?

We need to pay special attention to whether there is turbid oil on the surface when purchasing imported bearings. Because there is still a particular gap between the domestic anti-rust technology and advanced foreign manufacturing countries, it is easy to leave thick oil marks and it feels sticky when touched by hand. Any trace of anti-rust oil is rarely seen on the imported bearings.

4. Is the chamfer even?

The chamfer of the bearing is the intersection of the horizontal and vertical surfaces. Due to the limitation of production technology, inferior bearing products are not handled satisfactorily at these corners, which can be easily identified.

5. The packaging of bearings.

The packaging is divided into inner packaging and outer packaging. After the bearings are manufactured and qualified, they are put into the inner packaging to achieve the purpose of waterproof, dampproof, dustproof, maintaining the quality and accuracy of the bearings, and convenient use and sale.
