The spiral bearing is made of spring steel. The annealing temperature of spring steel is 3500C. Therefore, it has lower temperature sensitivity than ball bearing steel (100C6) with an annealing temperature of 1800C. Spiral bearing materials will extremely lose their hardness when the temperature reaches above the tempering temperature. Therefore, spring steel is more suitable for high temperature operation. Spring steel has good elasticity, so it is easy to install. The inner ring can be installed at any position by means of two hook wrenches,then the inner tension of the inner ring can make it fasten to the shaft. It is relatively to be easy to realize that the tolerance of the ring made of elastic material is h9 or the tolerance of the inner ring is h1l. In this way, expensive processing costs for the inner ring can be saved.

This kind of bearing is durable and is not greatly affected by the weak acid formed by dirt, iron filings, water, and fallen iron powder and water. The thin-walled spiral ring leaves a relatively large space for large-diameter rolling parts. These components can squeeze dirt and foreign matter into the spiral gap of the spiral ring by rolling, so that the bearing can keep the moving surface clean when it rotates.


The main advantage of the spiral bearing is that the outer ring can be reused many times, so that once the outer ring is damaged and bent due to the influence of temperature, it can be reworked and repaired. In this case, the bearing seat also needs to be adjusted. This structural design only changes the spiral outer ring, and does not need to change the complete set of the bearing and all other bearing components can be used again. The adjustment of the bearing seat is carried out in accordance with each increment by 1 mm diameter dimension. For example: when the inner diameter of the ferrule increases from 105mm to 106mm, the outer diameter of the spiral outer ring also needs to be increased by 1mm for installation. This situation can be repeated until the diameter reaches 110mm. In this way, the outer ring of the bearing can be repeatedly processed 5 times, which can save a lot of cost, especially all other bearing components can be reused 6 times, when the operation is feasible..
