Overview of Ceramic Bearings
Ceramic bearings are comprised of ceramic rolling elements (balls) enclosed in a ferrous (typically steel) inner and outer race. The Advantages of Ceramic Bearings

Classification of Ceramic Bearings

1. Ceramic bearings zirconia

The ring and rolling body are made of zirconia (ZrO2) ceramic material, and the holder is made of polyteflon (PTFE) as a standard configuration. 2. Ceramic bearings silicon nitride
The silicon nitride all-ceramic bearing ring and rolling body are made of silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramic material. Generally, RPA66-25, PEEK, PI, and Bakelite tube with a phenolic laminated cloth can also be used. Compared with ZrO2, Sin4 all-ceramic bearings are suitable for higher speed and load capacity, as well as higher ambient temperature. 3. Ceramic bearings are filled with balls
One side of the full ball type all-ceramic bearing is equipped with a ball notch. Because of the non-cage structure design, more ceramic balls can be loaded into the bearing than the standard structure, so as to improve its load capacity. In addition, it can avoid the restriction of cage material, and achieve the effect of corrosion resistance and temperature resistance of the ceramic cage type all-ceramic bearing. This series of bearings are not suitable for high speed. When installing, attention should be paid to installing the notched surface on the end that does not bear the axial load.
