1.Use copper rod and manual hammer to install

This is an easy way to install small and medium-sized bearings. When the inner ring of the bearing is a tight fit and the outer ring is a loose fit, the copper rod is pressed against the end face of the inner ring of the bearing, the copper rod is directly struck with a hammer, and the bearing is slowly installed on the shaft through the copper rod to transmit the force. When the bearing inner ring is large, copper rods can be used to strike it evenly around the end face of the bearing inner ring. Don't hit only one side, and don't use too much force. Symmetrical tapping, gently tapping slowly to avoid oblique cracking. .

2.Using sleeve installation

This method is the same as using copper rods to install bearings. It presses the sleeve directly on the bearing end face (presses the end face of the inner ring when the bearing is mounted on the shaft; presses the end face of the outer ring when it is installed in the housing hole), and the force of the hammer can be evenly distributed on the installation. The entire bearing of the bearing is on the end face, and can be used in conjunction with the press, which saves labor and time and is reliable in quality. The sleeve used for installation shall be made of soft metal (copper or low carbon steel pipe can be used). If the bearing is installed on the shaft, the inner diameter of the sleeve should be slightly larger than the journal 1-4mm, the outer diameter is slightly smaller than the diameter of the bearing inner ring flange, or the thickness of the sleeve shall prevail, and its thickness shall be made equal to the thickness of the bearing inner ring. 2 / 3-4 / 5, and both ends of the sleeve should be flat and perpendicular to the barrel. If the bearing is installed in the seat hole, the outer diameter of the sleeve should be slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the bearing.

3.Pressing method of press

The mounting pressure should be directly applied to the end face of the bearing ring with an interference fit, otherwise it will cause a pressure injury on the working surface of the bearing and cause the bearing to be damaged quickly.

4, heating installation

For bearings with large interference or large size bearings, in order to facilitate installation, the principle of thermal expansion and contraction can be used to heat the bearings in the fuel tank with copper rods, sleeves and hand hammers. The temperature during heating is generally controlled below 100 ° C, and 80-90 ° C is more suitable. When the temperature is too high, it is easy to cause the bearing ring raceway and rolling body to anneal, which affects the hardness and wear resistance, resulting in reduced bearing life and premature scrap.

The fit between the bearing and the shaft is generally a transition fit, and the fit between the seat ring and the bearing housing hole is generally a clearance fit. The installation method of the bearing is generally the case where the shaft rotates, so the fit between the inner ring and the shaft is an interference fit, and the fit between the bearing outer ring and the bearing chamber is a clearance fit.

When installing the bearing, first fix the dial indicator to the end face of the case, so that the contact of the meter is on the bearing ring raceway, and rotate the bearing. Watch the dial indicator while rotating. The axis centerline is not vertical. If the case shell hole is deep, you can also use the extended dial indicator. This is a good way to check the perpendicularity of the shaft ring and the centerline of the shaft.

The bearing installation is reversed, not only the bearing works abnormally, but also the mating surfaces will be severely worn. Since the difference between the shaft ring and the seat ring is not obvious, special care should be taken during assembly, and it cannot be reversed.

When the installation is correct, the seat ring can automatically adapt to the rolling of the rolling body, and ensure that the rolling body is located on the upper and lower ring raceways. In addition, a clearance of 0.2-0.5mm should be left between the bearing race and the bearing housing hole to compensate for the errors caused by the inaccurate machining and installation of the parts. When the center of the bearing ring shifts during operation, This gap ensures that it adjusts automatically to avoid touching friction and allow it to run normally. Otherwise, it will cause severe damage to the bearing.

Precautions when installing industrial bearings

1. For gap-fitting bearing rings, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of anti-creeping corrosion agent on the mating surfaces to prevent friction corrosion between the mating surfaces.

2. The force applied to the bearing during installation must not be transmitted from one bearing ring to another bearing ring through the rolling elements, otherwise the raceway may be damaged. However, under no circumstances should the bearing rings, cages, rolling elements or seals be struck directly.

3. Install an eccentric sleeve. The eccentric sleeve is first sleeved on the eccentric step of the bearing inner sleeve, and tightened by hand in the direction of rotation of the shaft, and then the small iron rod is inserted or pressed against the counterbore on the eccentric sleeve, and the small shaft is used to strike the small direction of rotation Iron rods to securely install the eccentric sleeve, and finally tighten the hexagonal screws on the eccentric sleeve.

4. Do not tighten the bolts that fix the bearing seat first, but let the bearing jacket rotate in the bearing seat. Then tighten the bearing seat bolts. At the same time, install the bearing and seat on the other end of the same shaft, rotate the shaft a few times, and let the bearing automatically position itself.

5. Apply lubricating oil to the bearing seat and bearing mating surface, and put the bearing in the bearing seat. Then put the assembled bearing on the shaft together with the bearing seat, and push it to the required position for installation.
