1. Roller dressing and grinding method

The principle of roller dressing grinding and elimination method: first, the wheel is dressed into the desired shape with the roller, and then the track is cut into for grinding with the dressed wheel.

Advantages of roller dressing grinding method:


(1) The shape of the grinding wheel is guaranteed by the roller, and the grinding wheel is easy to dress and time saving. It is suitable for large stomatal wheel (with large grinding grain) to grind rings of small size with fast heat dissipation, but with poor surface roughness of the workpiece.


(2) Install the workpiece at one time and grind the double raceway simultaneously.


Disadvantages of roller dressing grinding method:

(1) Different types of workpieces require different types of rollers, which are complex in work, periodic in use and of high cost. The rough surface of the grinding wheel dressed by the rollers affects the surface roughness of the workpieces.


(2) With a large grinding surface and a large cutting depth, the workpiece of the grinding wheel bears a large radial component, generating more grinding heat.


(3) There are strict requirements on the thickness of the grinding wheel. Different grinding wheels are required to process different types of workpiece, and the number of grinding wheels is large.


(4) Low grinding speed and low processing efficiency.


2. Single point dressing forming grinding method

Principle of single point dressing forming grinding: its principle is the same as that of wheel dressing grinding, but the difference lies in grinding wheel dressing method.After finishing the dressing, the diamond pen jumps out, moves the distance L, continues to dress the other side of the grinding wheel, and then grinds the workpiece with the dressing grinding wheel.

Disadvantages of single point dressing forming grinding method:

(1) Just like the roller dressing grinding, the grinding surface is large, the cutting depth is large, and the workpiece of the grinding wheel bears a large radial component, which will generate more grinding heat;


(2) There is a blind spot in the dressing method. When the grinding wheel is moved to the middle of the two sand wheels by diamond pen, it is easy to interfere with the grinding wheel due to its proximity. Therefore, the rotation Angle of Diamond pen is strict.


(3) There are strict requirements on the thickness of the grinding wheel. Different grinding wheels are required to process different types of workpiece, and a large number of grinding wheels are required;

3. Positive and negative grinding

(4) There is no requirement for the thickness of the grinding wheel, which reduces the model and quantity of the grinding wheel.


Disadvantages of positive and negative grinding:

(1) The workpiece is clamped and positioned twice, and the double raceway coaxiality and radius of curvature are prone to out-of-tolerance, and the size and position difference of the two raceways cannot be controlled in batches;


(2) The error of workpiece width H directly affects the position difference of the two raceways, so there are relatively strict size requirements for workpiece width H;


(3) Twice clamping, grinding, low processing efficiency.


4. Dislocation grinding

The principle of the dislocation grinding method: the dislocation grinding method is a new grinding method. (5) Once clamping and locating the workpiece, grinding the double raceway, which solves the problems of large cutting depth and high grinding heat in the roller dressing grinding method and single point dressing forming grinding method, as well as the problems of out-of-tolerance and low working efficiency in the coaxiality of double raceway in the positive and negative grinding method.
