Bearing vibration is sensitive to bearing damage , for example , the peeling , indentation , rusting , crack , abrasion ... will be reflected in bearing vibration measurement . So, the vibration size can be measured by using a special bearing vibration parameter meter (frequency analyzer), we can infer the specific situation by the frequency distribution. The measured values are different depending on the bearing conditions or the location of the sensor.
The temperature of the bearing can be speculated by the temperature of the outer bearing housing , it is more suitable to use the oil hole directly measure the outer ring temperature .
Normally, the temperature of the bearing rises slowly as the bearing runs , the temperature will reach a table condition after 1-2 hours. The normal temperature of the bearing varies with the heat capacity, heat release, speed and load of the machine , if the lubrication and installation part is suitable, the bearing temperature will increase sharply , in this situation , the operation must be stopped and necessary precautions must be taken.
High temperature is bad for bearing lubricants , if the bearing is working under more than 125 ℃ long time , it will lower the bearing life. The causes of high temperature bearing including: lack of lubrication or too much lubrication , bearing contained impurity , too large load , Inadequate clearance etc. So it is necessary to monitor the bearing temperature continuously . If the operating condition is constant , any temperature change can indicate the failure of bearings.
